Revlon Photo Ready Foundation - The Shimmer

A while back when the weather was still nice and hot I managed to capture this photo and you can see the shimmer that comes with the Revlon Photo Ready foundation. Note that on the apples of my cheeks is a highlighter but the glitter specks you see in other areas are the culprit.

I do LOVE this foundation though. It is my everyday work foundation and lasts well on my skin etc etc etc. Will post a You Tube review video shortly!

Scarves OOTD and 'For Audrey' by China Glaze

Here is a bit of an OOTD.

I purchased this gorgeous blue scarf last week and jump at the oppurtunity to wear it. It really can pull an outfit together and I think it adds a touch of femininity and class to a simple look. 

I paired it with a high waisted floral skirt, a tight black top, a black cardigan with scrunchy (correct word?) sleeves and  pair of bslck havainas!

O.P.I Sweetheart and Acrylics

So I go through phases of getting acrylics including the one I am going through right now. I just get over having my crappy nails and want nice ones! So I go the salon and get my nails done. 

This time I did something a bit different. I got my nails rounded and at a natural length. I must say I like doing this, people have been thinking they were my real nails and the compliments have been flowing in!

Love: Viva Glam Gaga by Mac

I am so happy to be a proud owner of Mac's Viva Glam Gaga lipstick! I have to admit this is amazing! 

Look at the packaging!

This picture is taken without flash. It is such a pretty pink colour without being too crazy like St Germain! Total love!

Swatched here you can see how creamy and silky this lipstick is. It goes on so smooth but you really do need to build up a couple of layers to get a beautiful pink lip! It is a Lustre.

I put it on quickly on my way out. Simple makeup for a simple day but the pink lips really brighten up the entire look. 

Amazingly shiny. You don't need to wear a gloss over this lippie! Mind the cracks in my lips!

I will be picking up a back up or two of this one before it ends.

FOTN - Birthday Blues (Though you can't see the blue)

I had my bf's birthday on Saturday (I have a new personal blog and you can see the post for his birthday here, follow if you wish) and as always I was excited to put a look together. Contrary to what you can see in the photos, I actually put together a blue themed look to match a blue dress I was wearing.

For the eyes I decided instead of doing a full blown blue eye I would add the colour in subtley. All the places in the above picture that look shimmery white are actually a gorgeous baby blue/gold!
