Ins and Outs

It has been a while since I have uploaded a video or done a blog post! Lately my camera has been recording everything funny and I need to fix it up! But for now I have been really feeling like doing one of these:

IN:
- 30 Day Shred... I need to do an entire post about this but the other day I tried it out and realised how unfit I was and spent the next 2 days with such painful legs... but I started this again today (even got the bf to try it out) and I am ready to do it for 30 days and lose weight!
- Europe... I am currently organising my trip to Denmark in June/July, I am coming for 3 weeks or so to visit my Bf's family/friends but can not come all the way there without visiting the UK to shop in London!
- Uni... this has started again and it is time to knuckle down for my last year of uni and graduate.
- New job... I now work in telemarketing and it is such a fun job! It is relaxed and there is potential to make a lot of money! (for makeup and lush?)

OUT:
- Laziness... no time for that with uni/work/shredding.
- Old job... goodbye retail.
- Meat and dairy... I have been vegan now for 6 months... I love it!

Hair Treatments

This post is very much in relation to my last post where I discussed those nights which you dedicate to yourself and just pamper away. Well this time on my Sunday afternoon/evening I decided to treat me hair to ... a treatment :)
I am just going to show you my steps to treating my hair. Simple but I thought why not blog about it right?

Below is my hair on day number 3 after washing, getting really tangly and looking a bit dry.

First I am going to choose my treatment product of choice. It really is up to you. I chose Lush's American Cream conditioner (you can use any conditioner as a leave in treatment) and squeezed a size about what is shown below.

P.S You can use anything you have on hand as conditioner. I also use Lush's REAL leave in conditioners, coconut oil and drugstore leave in treatments.

Start working the conditioner through the ends of your hair. Run your fingers through the tips and make sure they are all damp and covered in product! Looking something like this:

Squeeze some more product about the same as before and work this through the back of your hair and any other areas that are dry. I very rarely put the product throughout my roots, as my hair gets oily easy and I like to keep this dry! Below is my hair with the product through it.

Time to tuck that hair away for a while. I put mine in a bun, as seen below, or you can clip it up, put a shower cap over it or just leave it out! The point is mainly to have it out of your way for the next half hour - couple of hours before washing it out!

Go off an do your thing. Maybe you will run yourself a bath, play Sims 3 (like me), study, workout? Whatever!

I want to know what leave in treatments you all use! Do you like natural products, drugstore? Maybe you have some expensive ones that you swear by! Let me know!

Night in for one

Hello lovelies!

WARNING: LONG BLOG POST AHEAD, BUT DO READ!

Once a week I try to dedicate a night to myself and pamper myself silly! I try to do this on a Sunday night so I feel refreshed and beautified for the week ahead of me.

This night includes a lovely bath, ensuring those legs are shaved, those feet and fingers are looking sharp, skin is looking beautiful and probably the hair is nice and shiny too.

I like to first run myself a lovely Lush bath. I have so many Lush products that it is really time to use them up before I allow myself to purchase anymore!

Here are the Lushies I pulled out last night:

I run my warm bath and crumble in a bubble bar to create oozing amounts of foamy bubbles! Choice of the night was my leftover pieces of Ma Bar... a very chocolatey scented bubble bar with a little square of brown sugar in the middle. I threw in my L'il Lush Pud from X-Mas which smelt so yummy!

The Therapy bar was rubbed all over as a moisturizer after stepping out and I used the sugar scrub after shaving my legs. Mini review below!

Now I have had two of these babies in my Lush collection for a couple of months and they had remained untouched until last night. This one smells divine, like Strawberry Feels Forever Massage bar, but sadly its Limited Edition. I only crumbled off a small amount (think chocolate in a box sized) and this was great for my legs and for a little everywhere else too. Warning! This is VERY abrasive and I recommend that if you have sensitive skin, you should let it dissolve a little first!

So beneath is my little "kit" I use for pampering the face. I like to have a face mask on when I am in the bath but before hand I must prep for it! I ex-foliate using some great ex-foliating gloves (these babies are amazing, really going to rub off any dead skin) and use a cleanser of my choice (Coal Face by Lush) and then I put on my mask on and wash it off some point in the bath!

Last but not least I like to give myself a little pedicure while in the bath. At the end (only because I don't want to spend the entire bath sitting amongst my floating unwanted foot skin... ew) I use both the Ped-Egg and the Corn Plane to remove dead skin on my heels. My skin is usually nice and soft and it comes off easily and the flakes aren't making a mess! Off course when your feet are dry use a good moisturizer on them! I LOVE this one by The Body Shop. Smells lovely and is very creamy.

To end the night, paint your fingers and toes and feel fab! Oh and if you want do a hair treatment too!

Do you girls ever have these pamper nights? I think they are well deserved as a woman (or a man, I did get my BF to use a Lush toner tab... hehehe)!
